Assembly/Kitting

Alegre offers light assembly and kitting services.

Customer Plant Quality Interface

Alegre provides immediate response to address quality concerns and assists in resolving any quality issue. We manage Covisint or similar Customer Quality Management Tools and provide oversight to coordinate the findings and resolution implemented for permanent corrective action.

Supplier Quality Development

Alegre's Supplier Quality Development Engineer qualifies each vendor partner by auditing their production facilities. We also offer assistance with APQP and PPAP preparation, in addition to providing ongoing vendor support for quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Purchasing and Engineering Interface

Our Business Development Personnel are completely involved in the business process. On behalf of our vendor partner, we coordinate the quotation activity of the component part/assembly and interface with the customer's engineering personnel in product design and quality. We coordinate all other liaison activities and work in an open manner with all parties to help facilitate trade.

Product Control and Logistics (US Based)

Alegre is fully EDI compliant; managing customer releases and forecasts, while providing product shipping notifications. We are in daily contact with the customer's PC&L personnel for coordination of requirements and cumulative accounting of shipment information. We work with the customer to resolve any irregularities in their data. We regularly provide our clients with Alegre receiving, shipping and inventory reports.

Sorting and Containment Services

If a quality issue occurs, Alegre provides immediate sort/containment action. We localize the lot and initiate containment of inventory. We establish sort instructions and coordinate with the Vendor Partner for parallel sort activity. Alegre manages the sort/containment of in-house material as well as the pipeline to provide the Customer with Certified Shipments. Alegre also provides independent Sort and Containment Services.

Warehousing Services

Alegre performs an incoming inspection of the manufacturers part, provides storage (safety stock), and JIT delivery services. We manage our inventory through a world class ERP system which provides barcode labeling and complete lot trace-ability from receipt of material through serialized shipments to the Customer.
